Our Management Team

Darren Jones has over 30 years experience as a management and company accountant, working in both large & small business, as well as successful accounting practices. He has managed his own IT and bookkeeping business for the last 9 years.  He graduated with a Bachelor of Business (Accountancy) from the University of Southern Qld in 1991.

Darren is also currently a director of myworkspace.com, a web-based CRM and accounting system for SME's.  He has an in-depth knowledge of financial accounting/bookkeeping and is able to handle the most difficult of transactions.  Darren will easily work with your accountant as he knows what they like to see, can talk their talk, and understands how they need your books presented ... but also understands that financial information is primarily there to assist you manage your business.

Outside of business, Darren enjoys following rugby league, politics and reading autobiographies.  He is married to Gayle and together they have 4 adult children.

Gayle Jones is a qualified accountant over 30 years experience in company accounting.  Gayle graduated from the University of Southern Qld in 1990, and later was invited to return to USQ as a tutor in Company Accounting.  She has worked across businesses of all sizes, from Qld State Accountant of the Australian Wheat Board through to small family businesses.  She is very well known in her local community, and enjoys a high level of trust & respect with her professional peers.

Gayle enjoys camping, entertaining and catching up with friends when time allows.
